what is the minimum number of posts I need without getting the pass?

For now, try posting at least 2MB of attachments and receiving at least 30 "Thanks" for your posts. Then you will get additional access to the photo forums. However, you will not have all the benefits of a One Click Pass.
Keep in mind these minimums are set to change soon. We highly recommend people contribute on a regular basis and not just do the bare minimum.
