My wife is 57 and she has always had a bush. Sometimes she would shave it almost bald but would always leave a tuft of hair at the top of her slit. I called it her soul patch. Now she keeps it hairy but trimmed and will occasionally shave just the lips. Sometimes she lets it grow a bit longer.
