L O L ... in town, (near town) more like 25 - 35 Mph, couple of tracks near here haven't been used in years - rusty, some even tear up tracks for walking path....
Not much danger - unless your fall-down-drunk
Fascination.... Nostalgic, old-fashion, abandoned areas good place to play alone without interference, while still a chance to get caught, and that's more likely by bums, or young adults (less trouble)
