My wife's a spitter, not a swallower; has always been and will always be that way, according to her. She doesn't mind the taste, just doesn't want it down her throat.
I sometimes try the rational logical approach about how much more neat and tidy swallowing is but she'd rather shower and/or change the bed afterward.
Other times I tell her that all the other OCC wives and girlfriends do it; I don't get anywhere with that one, either.
I suspect on some level there's the thought that if she starts swallowing, knowing me, what will be the next sexual no no that I'll want to cross. And, me knowing myself, of course another challenge would soon present.
There was a thread about this some time back and it seems to me that the consensus then was about 50/50 of those who posted.
