But wait, what happened to Polly? Did she just get switched out for Lily? I get that we already saw Polly naked but her deep admiration for the professor and her "I'll do anything for her" mentality made her an adorable assistant. I could see her trying to encourage the professor when she woke up naked but also briefly forgetting how to blink.

I originally planned this out for these four girls! Perhaps in time Polly will somehow get trapped on the ship as well, or we'll cut back to Aurovo to see her attempts to retrieve the lost crew, but for now, these are our girls.
