I think it's set in the UK (not 100% sure though), and something like a drama, and fairly recent (released within that last 10 years I think).
Anyone have an idea of the film?

It's not set in the UK, but could you be thinking of the film; Black Snake Moan? In the trailer, we see Christina Ricci walking away from the camera, just as you described, cheek and all (see photo).
