Typical 60s movie fluff for the time. Frankie Avalon was the 60s teen idol.
The group of actors in the scene where in all the old tv shows of the time. Ceasar Romero was in Batman. Gale Gordon (actor in the middle) was on the Lucy Show. Eve Arden (not shown) was in the Mothers in Law. Deborah Walley (the main towel girl) was in the 60s Bikini movies and also the Mothers in Law.
I saw this scene when I was young and the memory lived long after the movie stopped playing on TV.
The buildup to this scene is Sergeant Deadhead just pushed a red alert alarm accidentally. The females are caught in the showers and by orders need to evacute the building immediately.
No nudity just women in towels, good reactions, and bare legs.
Quality is not great. We really need to start a fan club or something to convince the movie owners to release it on DVD.
Nowadays it seems you need a remake before they will release an old movie on DVD....that would be something!
