I've read through all the comments on this thread and everyone is so nice and respectful. Some of the weirder guys at NAP kinda of ruined it for the rest of you as soon as I got there but now that I know that most of you are cool I'll definitely be more comfortable next year.

Some of the members that actually shoot at NAP (never been there myself) could better speak to this, but I've seen a few behind-the-scenes videos of NAP (most notably a Swedish documentary where they interviewed the male audience) and was shocked at how obnoxious and disrespectful a lot of the men were. My guess is that they're a small but vocal minority, but it occurred to me that probably makes it difficult for some of the women who are a little less experienced in dealing with that kind of stuff. Maybe that's why so many women participate one year and never come back. You'll be glad to know that kind of stuff is against the rules here. People that post derogatory comments are banned.
Anyway, I've always been fascinated by the dynamic at NAP, and I'm sure I'm not alone, so feel free to share more about what it's like to deal with the "weirder guys" or anything else about your experience at NAP. It'd be interesting to hear more about NAP from a performer's point of view, especially a first-timer.
