Arrow about the codec needed

i downloaded these clip's and they work fine for me.
I checked the clip's with a codec finding program, and you need a codec for MPEG2.
clips in MPEG2 are a pain because a lot of editing programs won't work. I found this out
because my TV card also uses MPEG2, and i always convert them ti divx before editing anything.
I use virtualdub to convert the clip's, and i can also lighten the picture to see whats happeing.
i hope this info is of use.
