If you want to save some pic's use the snipping tool which is built into Vista and Windows 7.

Instructions

Zoom the image to any dimensions that you like. Best and largest screen fit.
Click the Windows "Start" menu button and type "Snipping Tool" in the search box. The "Snipping Tool" icon will appear at the top of the menu.
Click the icon to launch the program.
Press "Ctrl+N" and select "Rectangular Snip" from the drop-down menu.
Return to the zoomed image in the photo gallery. Click the top left edge of the image, hold down your left mouse button and drag the cursor to draw a rectangle around the image.
Release the mouse button. The Snipping Tool will reappear. Press "Ctrl+S" to open the "Save As" window.
Type a name for the file in the "File Name" text box and click "Save."
