Default Brazilian hen night, Chá de Panela

Did anyone of you ever heard about a game called „Chá de Panela“? I just readed about it. Its a game that girls play on there hen's night (the party right before wedding). All the Girls gives there packeted gifts to the bride (she is blindfolded). Now she has to guess what could be inside the packed. Every time she guess wrong, she has to take off a part of clothing. I never heard about something like that before, why should anyone do that?

You can read about this on a lot of German pages but I never saw one in English.

Here is one on the German MSN page. You can use Google translator to translate it into English. Someone says in the comments that he or she comes from Brazil and never heard of it.

This page tells about it too.

Or this...

As you can see there are a lot of Germans who know about that but I never heard anything like that in English.

Is this just a big lie?
