Mesa police: Woman sleeping naked in park, intoxicated

Police arrested a 44-year-old woman who was sleeping naked in a Mesa park Monday afternoon, records show. Officials say the suspect, identified as Susan Pollock, was wearing only a T-shirt rolled above her breasts. Authorities were called to Pioneer Park just east of downtown Mesa at about 5:30 p.m. after a family with three children notified police. Pollock smelled heavily of alcohol, and an empty vodka bottle was found next to her belongings, police say. According to records, Pollock told police she was trying to cool off and admitted that she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
