Naked woman accused of trying to bite cop

Criminal charges have been filed against a Lafayette woman accused of attacking a police officer who responded to a call where she was lying naked on a residential street.
Mitzi L. Gunther, 34, is charged in Tippecanoe Superior Court 2 with battery on a law enforcement officer, a Class D felony, and misdemeanor counts of resisting law enforcement and public nudity.
