Carnegie Hall
In the 1980's, I was staying in New York city at the old Sheraton New York, if I remember correctly, which was directly across the street from Carnegie Hall. As I was checking in, I noticed a crowd going to some function there. I was just getting back from overseas and exhausted. After a brief snack at the bar, I went to my room and was in bed early. When I turned off the light I happened to roll on my side toward the window and across the street were four large bright lit windows in a row, with girls dressing and undressing. It was maybe twelve or fourteen of them, and they appeared to be late teens or early twenties, but it was too far to really know(New York avenues are very wide). Back then, all had hairy crotches and seemed to be completely oblivious to the windows that were either wide open or without any shades, I don't know which. The girls kept going in and out of a room or rooms on the far side from the windows, and I never saw any dressed in a uniform, ballerina, or cheerleader type outfits. I returned to that hotel a couple of times, asking for a room on the front, but I never had the same luck. Nuts.
