Half naked couple arrested

A man and his girlfriend, both half-naked, were arrested Tuesday night after they caused a commotion inside a Sheridan Drive bar.

Sara M. Page was charged with criminal mischief after she punched a window, causing the pane to shatter. Her boyfriend, Matthew J. Ovitt, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he drove away from the scene after being told by police not to drive....

The bartender told police that Ovitt and Page began to take their clothes off in the bar area and “were telling others at the bar to take their clothes off and party.” She added a fight began because of the “aggressive nature” in which Ovitt and Page, both half-naked, approached customers. During the fight, Ovitt threw a bar stool across the room.

Management told the two to leave.

“Taking exception to this, a bare-chested Ovitt began to fight with other patrons in the bar, punching several males, kicking a female in her genital area and throwing a bar stool across the room, striking one gentleman in the face,” a report said.

Page then tried to “physically remove” the shirt of the female patron who had been kicked.
