As a general rule, Portlanders are uninhibited. I mean, for Christ's sake, we have a gay pedophile mayor who admitted to making out with a 17 year old boy, but is still pretty popular. And, as a general rule, we like to get naked. I mean, for Christ's sake, we have the biggest WNBR in the effing world, and we are responsible for 75% of the nudity at Breitenbush, Rooster Rock, Oregon Country Fair etc. But we are not exhibitionists in a pure sense. We love brazen nudity, but we love anonymity. We fiercely guard our right to have mass nude events, but we fiercely enforce photography rules. What's up with us?
Just initiating a conversation. And shamelessly bumping this thread. I need to see more WNBR pics! This is my favorite time of the year! And this year has had some fabulous photography! More! More! More!

Thanks Ricardo. I do understand it's something along those lines. It just seems a little bit counter-intuitive and contradictory to me, to be simultaneously both uninhibited and zealously protective. Obviously though they have the right to shape their own subculture. But I have the right to complain about it!
