When I was in High School I was a big fan of the band, Genesis. This was well before they went commercial. (Thanks, Phil Collins.) Anyway, I remember a line in one of their songs: "more fool me." I remember using it once back then while talking to an English girlfriend. She looked at me funny, then interrogated me on where this American had picked up the phrase, since she knew I'd never been across the pond. Anyway, other than that Genesis song, you are the first person I've ever heard use that line. I guess it's an English thing.
