In the height of the season on the swingers part of the beach or what the French call "Plage Libertine", the beach is packed with couples and singles all looking for just one thing. Most of the time it is difficult to find enough room to lay out your towels without touching those around you, and to get to the sea to cool off means that you really do have to step over all the bodies in the way!! Move your arm without thinking and you might find you are actually touching your neighbour !!!

Over the years the number of people here looking for sex has actually grown not diminished and the Police although still visible at times are not as intrusive as they once were.
