And it was this as well as the money that forced Karen to admit to what happened. She tried to tell me that she had gone to the doctor and that the doctor had done it for an examination, but this was farfetched and an obvious lie. It was of course what Bob had told her to tell me, if I noticed that her pubic hair was gone. How was I not going to notice? Bob laughed about it and told how and why it had happened.
