Actually I look at images here because I LOVE Cap d'Agde. And its the natural images of people walking about nude/semi nude I enjoy the most. Having said that, we have been going there the past four years and find that the freedom of being nude in public is spoilt by the presence of many there who come to gawp and get lucky (many do I suppose) because of its sexual reputation. The girlfriend covers up when we walk through areas where some people sit about to "size up the talent" for want of a better way of putting it. Nothing against the swingers since they generally keep to their activities on certain parts of the beach and the clubs etc. But our inhibitions in the shops, cafes, bars etc. is caused by the day visitors who are not always nude. I for one would prefer it if it was all nude everywhere all day long (weather permitting) swingers or not, but without the clothed gawpers who inhabit the place because of its reputation. But then the lure of commercial enterprise..........well that's what makes the world go around I'm afraid.
The campsite mentality would suit us but the accommodation and facilities don't. Haven't tried Vera Playa but feel we would get bored there over a week or two. All in all I still love the Cap.
