Biker already has a thread dedicated to his works. I don't see why Cartoon Joe shouldn't make a separate thread either -- it would definite get more attention from forum-goers given how prolific he is.
Remember that splitting the thread means more visibility for the various sub-interests. A lot of people like furry, so it makes sense to make a separate thread so it's not buried in a topic full of other drawings, in the same way that this thread was made to gather non-Anime/Manga art, which was the dominant thread. It's not about "I don't like furry, gtfo"; it's about giving respect to the interest by making a separate thread where all things furry can be seen.
To me, it only makes sense.
