So with the WNBR 2011 coming up in a couple of months ... I thought it perhaps time to post up some of the photos I took on last year's amazing bike ride... the sun was out, a wonderful spirit of freedom, liberty and celebration of all our wonderful collective differences shone that day as we cycled around through the streets.

Was the first time I had participated in this ride and really enjoyed.. I had meant to post some of these photos up earlier but as with a lot of my photography it ended up languishing on my hard drive and not seeing the light of day. In recent weeks I have been thinking that I should share these photos to reveal the smiles, colours, laughter and happiness of that great day... I took my camera along with me and did manage to take quite a few images documenting the event...

So .. here as a thank you for all the contributions made so far on this thread... are a few of my photos from the start of the ride.

Hope you enjoy and I will endeavour to upload the best of the rest of the photos I took as I get time.
