Wow Delt. Excellent post - thanks for taking the time to type that all up.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that was during a time when nurses didn't even wear gloves during bed baths, catheter insertions, etc - right?

You are right about medical personnel not getting away with most of that behavior in current times though I am more aware of it happening now than I ever was.

I found a main stream site where an RN admits to giving a patient "assistance" during a bed bath last year. I will try to find the link and post it.
