A part of the tour is dedicated to visiting the sacred shrine. Everyone who wants to visit must roll up their clothing to the knees and take off their tops! No exceptions for women or for foreigners. It caused a lot of excitement and discussion in our group. Some people are Christian and refused to go because the shrine is animist, but most went. The men went first and the women sat a bit down from the shrine (it is up in the rocky hills) then when the men were done it was our turn.
All the women has decided to go, but when the time came it was one lady from Gwollu and myself! So we went got naked from the waist up, shoes off, pant legs rolled up and visited the shrine.

In order to go into the shrine, the other female volunteer (Sarah) and I had to take off our tops, including our bras. It seemed weird to go topless into a shrine filled with a bunch of local men, but all the men acted completely normal while they explained the significance of the shrine to us.
