The only problem is that this plays into the dangerous stereotype of the foreign woman = immoral woman equation. Dangerous because assaults on foreign women are quite rampant in India.  |
Nevertheless it is quite common for Western, relatively wealthy women travelling in "exotic" places to take advantage of the unusual dynamic - their wealth giving them much more power than they are used to having over men - and use this power to explore sexual pleasure with less inhibition than they usually would have.
If anyone thinks it is a fiction that even an older, plain woman will easily find a partner - HA.
I often hear people say "no, that would never happen in my country, people are too conservative". I've even heard people claim there are no gay people in their country. Nonsense. We are all born with the same bodies and desires, and they will find a way even when people pretend to be proper to avoid the stares of their neighbors.
