Default Granting permission to edit your own posts.

Question to all OCC Staff And Moderators:

Why can't members that "obey all the rules, make valuable contributions to this forum, don't get into trouble with moderators" be granted special privileges like editing their own posts. I realise that allowing people to edit their own posts leaves it open to abuse. I think this could be achievable with input from moderators. An example would be where a moderator would say "This user makes good posts day in, day out, they've never been any trouble and it's safe to asume they could edit or update their own posts without going through a mod". This could free up some of the moderators time. Of course updated posts would still have to be reviewed. Moderators would be familiar with the users that post in their sections, and they would know the good posters from the bad posters that want to spam us into oblivian.

Can Moderators please post your thoughts and feedback.

Thanks for your time,
EvilExtreme
