We aren't as strict about photo reposts, because there are so many individual files and sometimes people post fills to series that have been started before. It would be almost impossible to keep track of every photo.
My best advice would be to take a quick look at the photos earlier in this thread and make sure your photos haven't been posted there already. After that, go for it!
