Because, dear people, it's not a "nudist camp" in the sense of those old nudie movies, or of Ile du Levant off the French Riviera coast, where complete nudity or, in the case of the latter, "le minimum" (a sort of g-string) at most, is
de rigueur. Rather, it's a clothing-optional resort, where one may wear some clothes if/as desired. I appropriated these from the "Nude beaches in Croatia" thread (thanks, stanzi: I have them myself somewhere on my hd, but it was easier to pull them from here), examples we've probably all seen, to illustrate...
