For today's set, we leave the first rest stop and ride about 45 minutes through the main shopping streets until we reach another little public park, just across the road from the famous Brighton Pavilion (once the palace of the Prince Regent who later became King George IV).
This park is dominated by a large 19th century fountain, scene of some nude splashing about in 2008, but the cooler air temperature meant it was not used to cool off this year. Getting so many riders into this space proved difficult, and it was pretty much 'standing room only'. This did not stop another impromptu naked disco starting up, the sound being provided by cycle mounted 'mega-blaster' amps and speakers.
A queue (naked of course) formed at the small park cafe, where some folk bought refreshments. The cafe owner was asked in advance about that amount of nude customer's, he said 'as long as they have somewhere to keep some money to pay me, I do not mind them being naked at all'!
