Yes, you can. If you click the multi-quote button (the small button with the quotation mark symbol) on a post or posts, then start a new post in another thread, under the message box, you'll see a line that says:

You have selected x post(s) that is/are not part of this thread. Quote this/these post(s) as well, or deselect this/these post(s).

The "Quote this post as well" part is hyperlinked and clicking it will bring the quoted posts into the body of the message.
