I don't think they are cheerleaders
We don't really have cheerleaders in the UK... its certainly not a feature of the school sports system like it is in America (judging by all the American teen movies I've seen). I don't see any pom-poms or streamers.
I'd guess this was a netball team, or some jumpy-ball-type-game team.
Who cares what they are anyway. They're topless!
