Default Here's my theory:

Sorry this isn't a picture post, you guys do great work with this thread, I only wish I could contribute to it. Anyway, here's my theory on the whole 'recognizing a woman you know' debate:

I believe that it DOES happen. Clearly, the sheer number of people on this planet dictates that it shouldn't happen often, but I do believe that it does happen. The thing is, it most likely will not be reported on the very same site that it happens. I think of it in terms of if it happened to me. If I saw a woman that I knew, the first thing I would do would be to save the picture. I surf here at work, so I need to save it for later. Hehe. But the LAST thing I would do would be to post the fact that I recognize her! A few reasons: Most importantly, if I expose the fact that I know her, I risk never seeing any more pics of her. If, by chance, her husband is lurking in the bushes and posting his wife to see what response she gets, he's not going to continue to expose her and further risk positive identification. The second reason plays off the first. If I blab that I know someone, maybe said husband recognizes me or my wife from my posts and ID's my wife, etc. etc. Anyway, keep up the good work everyone, and I'll be praying and praying that it does happen to me, just don't expect me to cry wolf if and when it does.

Cheers
