Wasn't sand that got it - it was water. I guess one of the water tight seals must have degraded. It still operates but I just don't seem to be able to take pictures. I'm hoping that drying it out a bit more will solve the problem. If not, I'll be looking for something new - so if you can recommend something good for our particular needs I would really appreciate it. Recommendations from anyone else out there also greatly appreciated. I'm on a pretty tight budget though so can't go too mad.
