It's easy to explain. Girls need to sit down, or otherwise contort themselves into uncomfortable positions to be able to pee. Guys can just whip it out wherever they are, but girls can't. So it makes it more awkward for women, and it means, at least to me, that when they are in those positions it is a very feminine act. And feminine acts tend to be very sexy, from my male point of view.
