There was a sign saying no video cameras allowed, but the rule wasn't enforced and it is kind of pointless, now that almost all cameras can shoot (HD)-video.

They must get a big %-take from the Buttman shot Nudes-a-Poppin series, along with Dreamgirls and have to scare off the other video-ers. In the old days I just hauled up my VHS recorder and tripod & motored all over the place, except directly in back of the judges & in between the pole on stage. For the admission price you should be able to record any way you like! IMHO
