It was at this point that the monsoon started. Most people ran and crowded under what shelter was available. I decided to just get wet, and enjoy the break from the heat.
I walked over to the covered deck area where several contestants were hiding, and took some pictures. One of the advantages of using a small and cheap camera is that I can shield the whole thing from the rain with my other hand. Unfortunately, I ended up getting the edge of my finger in some of the shots.
When the downpour didn't immediately let up and didn't show signs of turning into a dangerous thunderstorm, some of the girls decided it would be fun to dance in the rain. They looked like they were having fun with the novelty of it all, instead of being another day at work.
