I think the real issue with "regional burning man events" is whether or not they're officially part of the Burning Man organization; I've always assumed not, both because they all have different names (and use code like "afterburn," "burners" or "BRC," rather than ever using the official name) and because I've never seen an objection about photos of their events turning up here. If they aren't actually affiliated, then there should be no problem with those being posted.
