On a related note, fairly frequently I will see a burning man photo in a thread, but one that was taken inside a tent or something, or shot in such a way that the location is not readily apparent. These often look like ordinary public nudity pics, and so I figure few will make an issue out of it. Should I be reporting these? Probably, right...? I mean, someone that really has experience with burning man pics would be able to tell as I can where the pic was taken. So potentially, it could create a problem. Seems it is my duty to report....

And also - what is the policy concerning REGIONAL burning man events? Burning Man's position regarding photography and the contention that all photos taken are property of burning man could conceivably apply to the smaller regional events also. I have often felt a bit guilty posting these as they can be quite small events with under 50 participants. But my guess is the big guns are aimed at pics mainly from the mother event because they are so numerous, and because the mother event has the resources to force compliance. The smaller events do not have the resources to go after folks on the net, and the number of pics is much smaller anyway.
