I saw Daniel Johnson and his friends happily biking naked around the neighborhood and showing everyone what the clothing optional experience is all about. Daniel is a Flickr friend and a founding member of Seattle's Naked Pumpkin Run. He is active as a leader and promoter of various naked events, and posts pics on his photostream as well as hosts a couple of Flickr groups. I have written him to offer my support.
here is a pic from that ride taken by me. I'm looking for pics of him (not that it really matters, but I'm just curious).
BTW - the complaint was lodged by locals with kids that they (horrors....) did not want to expose to nudity!
DJ faces a possible $5000 fine and/or a year in jail. I'm not sure I know of any other arrests associated with a WNBR. Maybe Eugene, OR (cops put a damper on that in 2008 but not sure they actually made any arrests) WNBR's generally have the cooperation of the police, and the same was true on that day in Seattle too. it was only later that the complaint was lodged and acted upon.

Any particular reason this is being acted on
now, months later? If the WNBR was being run with the cooperation of the police, maybe the case will be thrown out. I don't understand how they can charge one guy, when hundreds (thousands?) of others were riding naked as well.
edit: You don't make this exactly clear in your post, but was he riding around away from the prescribed WNBR route? That might be what the complaint is about. Can you clear up this point, please?
Thanks
