I do recall a situation in Florida about 15 or so years ago, where police had arrested a couple, which was laying nude on the beach. Apparently they allowed the male to get dressed before he was arrested, but took the female nude to the car and to the police station. She sued, I belive it was the Madeira Police Department and got a large judgment.
I don't think it was the 10 million she wanted, but it was very close to this, and I remember reading that the chief of police said something to the effect thatit was the equivalent of a 5 year budget of the department.
