Do not bother with anywhere here until Spring 2008 (March/April) as the weather is not worth the travelling distance. We do get nice beach days in winter, but only about 1 in 5 and the sea is too cold as well.
The US is roughly divided into regions - New England is the northeast corner, from Maine to Connecticut. New York and New Jersey are "Middle Atlantic" states...
