God, I've not thought about this series for y-e-a-r-s. Is this the one that used to be on BBC2 (I think) in the early evenings? I must have been about 7-8 and found it very odd, but also kinda sexy (in that vagualy aware pre-teen kind of way) and wasn't sure if I liked it (though I do remember my Dad did
