other people have advised me that i can find the files in my temporary internet files cache, but have been unable to do so. i'm using windows XP and can't even find the folder for temporary internet files (in an old version of windows i had no problem locating the folder). i also tried running a search of my entire c:drive (including hidden files) using part of the file name (for example, i'd search for any file with the word "indian" in the file name). i figured that would locate the individual file in the cache, but it came up blank as well. i had this problem when using MS internet explorer. i recently switched to mozilla firefox -- that might make things even more complicated.

i was explaining this to a friend of mine today and he suggested software that locates and extracts the files from your windows cache. i was going to try it, but you saved me the trouble by sending me that file (thanks again). i might try it on another vid as a test. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html
