It's my pleasure to convert whenever possible. I could only imagine how frustrating it would have been not being able to see this video, especially after you read the description and get a vidcap to go with. I'm with you guys all the way with regards to Real Player and QuickTime. Both (especially RM) used to give my system fits. However, I have no problems at all since I started using Real Alternative and QuickTime Alternative. They're both pretty small files, and I have yet to hear of anyone else saying they've had trouble with them.
As far as the conversion goes, I used AVOne RM converter. I haven't converted a lot of rm clips, but I haven't had any trouble with the ones that I have. I'm also using the free version, which I believe, only lets you convert a maximum of 5 Mb. If you go beyond that it puts some watermark on the video or something.
