"Naked" means "uncovered." It can also mean "undisguised" , and can sometimes mean "in itself natural state"
So we talk about a "naked flame" the "naked facts" and "the naked eye".
"Nude" more specifically means "without clothes" , and is typically used in specifically human contexts- although it does also apply to statues (of humans.)
