Has there actually been one yet? To help other searchers: there's an art project in London that just got underway, in which applicants selected through a lottery will be occupying the fourth, unstatued plinth (spelled with an "n" as in the message text above, rather than as in the title) in Trafalgar Square for an hour at a time, 24/7, for I believe it's to be 100 days, doing whatever artlike thing they wish. The coordinating artist has confirmed that nudity will be allowed, though I haven't seen that anybody's done it yet. So that you don't have to look it up in your dictionary of architectural terms, here's a plinth or two surmounted by nudes (though as Klondike might well point out, it's not from The Smoke but rather Stumptown)...
