Here's my scoop on mindpoop:
Mindpoop seems to have a rotation of advertisements that pop up when you click on certain tasks (they usually show up for me when I choose to sort the videos by rating). Most of the advertisements are harmless and can easily be closed. Occasionally you get one that wants you to click on a bunch of stuff in order to close the window, and in the process of doing so, you sometimes trigger some nasty spyware or a virus (usually spyware). The only way I have found to get out of the window without getting nailed with something bad is to hit Control+Alt+Delete (on a PC), go to the task manager, and force all of Firefox or IE to shut down. Then you can reopen your browser (make sure you don't choose the option to restore your session if it is offered) and go back to the site. Since the advertisements are on some kind of rotation, you won't run into the bad one again for awhile. It works for me. Also, if I use my MAC laptop (instead of my PC), I have no problems at all because the spyware is just written for Windows.
