Oh please, 90% of this site and it's appeal has to do with posting private pics with the subjects being unaware of the posting. If someone posts nudes of their girl on Flickr and they end up here, no one is usually surprised, nor should they be. And if you're going to split hairs about Flickr's TOS and copyright claims, once again, you've eliminated the vast majority of photos on all sites of this nature.
Everyone wants "control" of their stuff even after they release it to the 'net. Time and again, some have to learn the hard way that the 'net is a vast, essentially lawless land. Reigning in the sharing of media and information is a losing battle. Ask the RIAA and MPAA about that one! Even their billions of dollars in anti-public counterattacks have proved essentially fruitless.
If you enjoy sharing your pics, that's great; we all appreciate that. But don't expect that you can mark your turf like a jungle cat and expect to retain the control you had before you took the very broad step of sharing your content ON THE INTERNETS!!!!!!
