...you better watch it, there are some none-sucking Lurkers (well, at least one I know of) on here as well.
Then again, I couldn't agree more with your point of view. It kept bugging me quite a bit at times (see my sig for details) to do all the uploading on a (in the beginning of my posting here) rather slow connection and getting almost no to no recognition at all, no matter what or how much I posted.
These days, I keep telling myself "Hey, myself, if the stuff you post is
that good it keeps people from putting their hands back on the keyboard...". Doesn't help me too much, I admit, but myself seems to be rather content with the approach.
As for the fact that it's mostly other high(er)-figure posters clicking the "Thanks" button: We know how much time and effort goes into searching, sorting and posting. So we appreciate that effort if we see it made by others. Those with the "All take and no give!"-mentality will never even get close to understanding.
Don't let them get you down.
