Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I suspect you overestimate the appeal (at least to most of the known universe!) or supply of pictures on this theme; and I am certain you underestimate the amount of attention your threads in general, and this one in particular, garner. There has been a film (caps here), "glamor"/arty shots of the women, and even cheesecake based on the archetype; there has also been a book (titled "Island of the Fisherwomen" in the edition I have, "Hekura: The Diving Girls' Island" in the other); there is also a website (
